I-19 A very nice cabinet card sepia tone photograph from the late 1800s to early 1900s of two Victorian ladies. This photo measures 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" (this size cabinet card was introduced in 1866) and shows a 3/4 length portrait image of two ladies in dress & hairstyle of the period. One is adorned with a Victorian circle pin near the throat and both are wearing a dress with a high collar, sash belt, and close fitted puffed sleeves. They both have a pulled up hairstyle with the lady on the right showing more curls. The bottom of the photo has the name of the photography, "The Imperial" and the place with address, "22 Temont Row, Boston." There is also written lightly in pencil the names of the ladies. I've shown a close up photo, but cannot make out the exact spelling of the names. The back of the photo is plain and unadorned. This is a very nice early photo that will add historical charm to your early image collection. See condition below>
SIZE: 4.25" x 6.5"
Condition; Pre-owned; no folds or creases; very minor characteristic wear & light foxing; back has a smudge (see photo).
