R- #670va - This is an early silver metal coin size watch fob that apparently was issued before the time when telephones were in widespread use. This identification coin watch fob bears an identification number 532348, issued by the Paul Revere Life Insurance Co, Worchester, Mass. On one side is the engraved image of Paul Revere on horseback with the name, "The Paul Revere Life Insurance Co, Worcester, Mass with the words, 'Health-Accident-Life' under the image. On the other side is the identification number stated above, with the instructions: "If injured or unable to identify me telegraph this number 532348 to the Paul Revere Life Insurance Company". This identification badge fob measures 1 1/8" in diameter and looks like it might be coin silver the way it polishes up, but there are no markings. An interesting piece of Americana and a great cross collectible. See condition details below:
SIZE: Measures 1 1/8" in diameter with hanging length of 1.25"
CONDITION: Pre-owned; shines up like it might be coin silver; characteristic wear to the back side in the lettering.
