G - #1384kd - A beautiful heavy weight quality early American Pressed Glass 8 oz goblet with a lovely raised cut work design surrounded with 6 green tone thumb print designs that also have raised edges. This pattern is called Bullseye & Daisy made by US Glass dating from 1909. The glass is clear but has a subtle violet hue when under light (characteristic of old glass). The pedestal base of the glass has a raised wavy scalloped edge & the stem is fluted (3 mold seams can be seen on the stem). The glass looks like it once had a gold gilt decorative edging as you see evidence of that on some of the edges. (I like it without the gold). A beautiful piece of stemware that not only would look beautiful on the dining table, but also make an elegant accessory for other purposes. See size & condition below>
SIZE: Holds 8 oz liquid; 6" tall; 3.25" top diameter; 3 1/8" diameter base
CONDITION: Pre-owned; glass clear (subtle violet hue under light); no chips; no cracks; retains a bit of gold gilt on edges; frosted green thumb prints have a bit of color loss giving the color a bit of a variegated look; one minor characteristic straw mark on the bottom (pointed out in photo) - typical of early glass.
