E- #416pcb - A well used & loved antique reader from the New Education Readers series published by the American Book Co, NY, Cincinnati, Chicago with copyright date 1901. This early reader is Book Four designed for the Third Year of reading. This hardbound 176 page school book consists of a variety of short stories & poems with black & white illustrations and photo prints throughout. The last 3 pages have a list of the words introduced throughout this reader for use in enunciation, spelling & pronunciation drills. The back cover shows the American Book Co symbol. This is a charming book but it does have some condition problems as you would expect from an antique used school book. If interested I have a companion book three from this same series (later date) on a separate listing. See specs & condition details below>
