GR--#518vc - A beautiful little early 1900s infant dress and petticoat - a MATCHED set styled in a delicate white cotton fabric with Madiera type embroidery detailing. This duo has charming very light raised embroidery and edge work at the neckline area, sleeve cuff, slip neckline with scalloped edge hems on both pieces. The back of the dress has 3 tiny buttons and pintuck detailing. The top button has been replaced with a tiny pearl button that is not a match with the other two. The petticoat has a double button closure on each strap. A sweet combination from an earlier time. Please see size measurements and condition below.
Dress & Slip 21.5" long;
Dress measures 9" across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam;
Sleeve length 5" from shoulder seam to end;
Slip measures 8.5" across from outside edge of strap to the other strap outside edge.
CONDITION: Pre-owned- vintage; top button on dress is replaced and does not match; tiny pinhole repair on dress in back under back pleat; very light brown wavy line that runs horizontal across front of dress - above the marker I show laying on the front - SEE PHOTO (not easy to see in photo - probably removable with a gentle soak). I do my best to describe these early garments - please do not expect perfection.
