I-19 A very nice cabinet card sepia tone photograph with gold edging from the late 1800s to early 1900s of a gentleman in a three piece suit with watch chain. This large photo measures 5 1/4" x 8 1/2" and shows a full length portrait gentleman's image in dress & hairstyle of the period adorned with a vested suit, shirt and sporting a gold watch chain from his vest pocket. His short flat hairstyle defines the period. The bottom of the photo has the name 'Wallin' in embossed script. The back of the photo is plain but has the stamped name, "Chas E. Wallin, Selma, Ala." I do not know if this name indicates that this photo is actually a photo of Charles Wallin himself, or if this name refers to the photographer. A handsome piece indeed, that would add historical charm to your collection or compliment other pieces from this time period. A nice piece of history from Selma, Alabama area.
SIZE: 5.25" x 8.5"
CONDITION: Very good; some very minor corner wear bottom right corner; few minor spots on back.
